Lol, I've worked a 40 hour week ever since I was a junior in high school. Are there actually people who can somehow afford to go to college without working?
isabel.. true true.. my prof is getting married this Saturday so I guess I'll be nice and give him at least an extra day I'm not sure if getting married will put him in a good mood or bad mood when it comes to grading
Three finals down, two to go. Thursday a math final, and Friday on American Politics. I am SO ready for an end to this semester. Normally with a week left I hit a wall where I just don't care about my grades or anything and I just want it to be over. I hit that wall about three months ago.
Guys, You just have to enjoy what you can. I'm running my investment company full-time and am starting another partnership to build some townhomes, and I still have 4 more months of my Executive MBA!! Then i might actually do second masters. (I enjoy hurting myself) But I can still party my ass off with the best of them!!
Theoretically done - turned my grades in this afternoon with a whole four minutes to spare. Not actually done, since I told my students I would email them their grades if they wanted it, and a lot of them do. Not to keep them on pins and needles, but I'm just too tired to send out all those emails right this minute. The last few days have been interesting. It's fun to be in a state where as soon as you sit down or relax for a minute you can start dreaming and having all these weird interconnecting thoughts as you fall asleep. For those of us who don't do drugs, it's probably the next best thing...
This would be the reason my GPA wasn't higher. It's been a lifelong battle for me to pay attention in class - but in my primary education, I was still way above average, even with the daydreaming. College seemed to level my playing field a bit.
I finished my Business Law final Tuesday and it was my last one. Had 10 hours this semester (on top of full time work) and made a 4.0.
I finished my finals a week ago. It took me a while but I finally got my Associates degree. Now I get to transfer. But for now I'm gonna enjoy my break.
Done!!!! I had been kind of banking on failing a class or two, but I actually did really well on my finals, so now I just don't know. I can sleep now!!!
