Its amazing. Lidge is #15 in the NL in Ks (153), which is amazing considering he is a reliver. The next closest releiver is Gange with 115. Anyone remember what Wagner's K per 9 inning record was?
Lidge is just unreal. That slider is straight up SICK. It must look just like a fastball coming in (hell it's about the same speed as a normal pitcher's!), then the bottom just drops out. Unfair.
