I think Griffin would look so much better than Jefferson in the Nets offense. He'd even be better than K-Mart.

Both those guys would be busts in a halfcourt set. Robert Horry can school K-Mart if it comes down to halfcourt play.

Griff and Jefferson play different positions so it is difficult to compare them. However, Jefferson is a much better defender. He was drafted out of college as a defensive specialist.

SLA if you are waiting to get back to school you may be too young to remember a guy by the name of "Dream" or you may have been too young to attend the parades in Houston honoring the city's only two World Championships. But, just wanted to remind you that you CAN win feeding a BIG guy and playing inside/out style basketball. It isn't as pretty to watch as motion offense but, I still daydream about watching Hakeem in his prime and him taking us to the championship.

PS. Isn't amazing how a thread can change subjects 4 or 5 times from what it started out to be about. I miss DREAM and I miss a better BBS. But, I'm old school and only post when something needs to be pointed out and not just to hear myself talking.

I forgot i actually wanted to make a comment on the topic of the thread.

I would love to see the Rockets pass the ball more and dribble less, but it's the mark of young team to dribble. I think by the end of the year there should be more passing when they get accustomed to playing with one another. Even though some of the guys have been playing together for a long time, Yao has introduced a very big change on the team.

LOL OT. I remember the Dream all right. Yeah...I watched the Finals and all the point guard did was run down the court with the ball and pass it straight to Hakeem. That was all they did. And then he would try to score or if he was stuck would pass out and he would have great players like Clyde Drexler and Mario Elie and Otis Thorpe and Eddie Johnson and Robert Horry and Matt Bullard and Vernon Maxwell to shoot the ball. But Yao is just a rookie and cannot handle this task. He is the last one to get down the court. We should pass down to Yao while all the other players are moving around to switch matchups. Inside Out stuff.
LOL OT, you daydream of the Championships. You are pretty serious. Why don't you support the Kings? You'll be happy to see them win all their games. How was the old BBS like? Was it everyone just reciting and screaming YES!!!
Moochie Norris should not be allowed to dribble more than five times in a row. He should stick to passing and trying to find a way for others to score. Same with Maurice Taylor. Do not let him try to waste ten seconds by himself. When he tries to score, he forgets about everyone else and never passes. Sometimes he scores but he also loses the ball too many times.

It is nice to know that all of the haters out there spent time to actually look at my profile and see how many posts I post per day. I feel so special. They spent their VALUABLE TIME on me. And the real haters wasted time posting to diss me.

    SLA has got a point.

What happened to posts that had real thought involved in them? I appreciate a good dumb post every once in a while, now a good thread only comes around every once in a while. Oh well, I still love this site.

More power to you SLA. Increase your posts to 60 per day.

First off, Dont come on here HOPING the Lakers make the playoffs. This is ClutchCity.net, right? You should be hoping they finish in the cellar.

And as for the Jefferson/Griffin comparison....there is none.
Jefferson has pretty much reached the peak of his career. Eddie is only 20 years old, a 6-11 forward with a 3pt shot and a shot blockin' fool. By the time he is Richards age, hell be starting in allstar games for the Rockets.
