really cool to have 2 different language feeds for the game isn't it? Since we have loads of Chinese on this board as well Rockets2K, can u try some other type of encoding such as those of RMVB files? they are really good and are of smaller files as well... thanx
no...I tried to use rm and the quality is not the same. check any dvd ripping site that has done codec tests and you will see that none of them use rm because of the quality issues. In the world of people who encode things with a mind towards quality,,,the standard is either Divx or mpeg2...divx gives the best quality to size ratio. take the time to look at the Divx files...yes, they are bigger...but the quality is better than rm.

For those of you having trouble knowing what codec you need, I tried Gspot Codec Information Appliance, freeware that does the job...
rm is not good.... rmvb is the newer ones which seems to be good enough..... I dun really see much difference between the ones I downloaded off the China's website which are encoded in rmvb to urs in divx.... and it is around 200MB less..... but then, any games available will be good and I am not going to complain btw, would u happen to have the one against Bucks? I can't find it off China's website and would like to watch the game.... can u seed it? thanx

Glyyde, no offense, but you are not correct. The difference between Rockets2K videos and ydy games is his overtime games are over 1 hour longer. The compression is identical. If you don't believe me, then check out this torrent: http://www.5ye.com/ydybt/032804.torrent That torrent is the Bucks game. That *is* Rocket2K's video capture. ydy is in full agreement that rmvb and Divx5 are comparable. they like his longer games that have pregame/halftime/postgame ... and an overtime game will naturally be longer. Plus, they have stated that they like his quality and compression. Please end this notion that ydy or rmvb could produce smaller files. They can't. They use the same compression ratio as Rockets2K.
point noted..... actually I do prefer Rockets2K's ones..... the commentating is way better than those of China's channel......
