This team is gonna start running off! Jeremy Lin has looked really confident in the last few games already and this game was amazing and Harden showed us some moments today that we haven't seen since Tmacs first few years here. I feel the team is really going to start gelling big time after the passing of the trade deadline. I'm excited for Dmo to get more consistent minutes coming up and providing some rebounding and post offense. I can really feel a winning streak coming, it looks like the team has really figured it out although inconsistency with a young team is always an issue. I really feel like we can make a good push for the playoffs this year as long as our backcourt keeps up their work and we start working in Dmo and Robinson. Even if we don't go crazy as I think we will, getting off the medicority with maxed out potetntial players like Morris and Patterson is a big relief. GO ROCKETS!
Robinson is a project, he has shown flashes, but he is a project, like Serge Ibaka was during his first couple of years. I would say our future looks as bright as the Thunder of 3 years ago did... Still need a second star, and we have so much cap room to make that happen.
Now we need Dwight Howard. I'd give them anyone outside Harden for Dwight Howard and a Max extension.
I agree we definitely look like the Thunder a couple of years ago of course with less talent. If Lin can consistently bring around 15-16/7 alone with great confidence in his jump shot we got a real good shot. But don't rule out a run this year seriously I can see it happening. I'm just so proud of the development of our young players in Asik and Lin from their weaknesses at the start of the season to now.
I said it before and ill say again. Lin has the potential to be a SUPERSTAR while Lowry and Dragic are nothing but ROLE PLAYERS. Morey knows what he is doing
