Didn't the Rockets get the goofy gnarling rocket about the same time that Toronto got the goofy Dinosaur? I believe all the uni's and logos come from one league approved designer and whatever the prevailing 'theme' is at the time the teams change is what you get. At that time they were in to a modern, anthropomorphic cartoon figure thing. The trend seems to be moving back to a more reserved classic theme . so we will probably get somthing along those lines to unveil with the new arena. Hey I noticed that Hakeems picture as a Raptor had lost the Barney but the uni was so plain I thought it was a practice jersey.
I knew Hakeem would grasp the irony of wearing a dinosaur on his jersey , I just didn't think Totornto would change it for him.
Toronto had those unis last year. Plus, I think the one Hakeem's wearing looks funny cause its about 2 sizes small.
Yeah the Raptors dumped that ugly Raptor Cartoon logo before last season. I think the Rockets should do the same to that ugly tooth narling rocket. Hakeem looks weird in another uni, but it does look a few sizes too small. ZRB, What was that picture of the new arena supposed to be of?

ZBR, LOVE THE COURT!!!! We ought to make a contest of who can come up with the best uni. All you need is photoshop, and you're good to go. We ought to have the guys wear astronaut helmets. Wouldn't that be cool?
i think this poll is faulty. having the "don't care" option prevents us from knowing what people think. i mean you either like the uniform or you don't...there is no neutral opinion on the matter. Jeff, if they accentuate the red, won't they look like the clippers?
I say lets get back to the old uniforms or at least modified versions of them. I liked the old logo, it was simple but had a rich tradition behind it. Maybe we can get the logo on a rocket blasting off or something like just to update it. But red definitely has to be the primary color. How about red,gold and maybe black or navy blue? By the way, did anyone see the 1st games of the 81 finals vs boston on NBA.com tv?
