    Riley against Texas Western (UTEP now) in 1966
    Ewing against UNC in 1982
    Olajuwon against Ewing's Georgetown in 1984

    Riley played with one of the greatest centers of all time, Ewing got beat by one of the greatest centers of all time, and of course, Dream is one of the greatest centers of all time.

    As an aside, it's amazing how often Riley has been a part of basketball history...

    His high school team beat Power Memorial who had a kid named Lew Alcindor.

    Played for Rupp and lost to "Glory Road" Texas Western in the NCAA Finals.

    He was the very first draft pick for the Rockets franchise.

    Ended up playing behind West on a Lakers team that won 33 straight.

    Coached a great Lakers team, including the kid he beat in high school.

    Trademarked "threepeat."

    He was in a Columbo episode.
