It would be cool if the Rockets would go to the World games and support Yao. I know CD and Rudy may go, but I'm talking about Steve, Cat, Mo T and Eddie.

I think it would mean a lot to Yao, and show him that his future teammates are interested in how well he plays.

Now that is a GREAT idea.

The team should go at least out of curiosity and introduce themselves to him.

i'd prefer that they stay here and practice, get in shape, and or rehabilitate.

That is an absolutely fantasic idea, but one that is very unlikely to happen.

I agree, it would be a GREAT idea!

Hey, I was watching that Hakeem Olajuwon Fox special last night and something that really caught my eye was when they talked about when Hakeem joined the Houston Cougars the TEAM did everything they could to welcome him in. They made him part of the family. I think that ment a lot to Hakeem since here he was, a foreigner coming to a new strange land, and here was his teammates helping him along.

The Rockets players need to do the same think with Yao Ming. They should make him feel welcome and part of the team. That will only help in team chemistry and the more comfortable Yao Ming feels the more he can concentrate on BASKETBALL things versus cultural things.
