I never doubted what you said. I doubt many people, if any, did. I just don't think the news impressed anyone enough to comment much.

The real question is, what are his chances of making the team?

Its actually pronounced "Harris". I heard the commentator say it during one of the summer league games. So, no its not pronounced "hairyass" but "harris".

This is interesting, even if it turns out to be just for training camp.
With all the new additions, who do you all think seems the most likely to be traded?

so whn CD said we needed to win now...i'm sure he was talknig about next season right? not this season? cause we sure seem to be signing alot of rookies/unproven talent lately...i mean i dont mind signing them because they bring potential..but this is contradicting his first decision to trade rudy gay for battier. i really hope we don't have another painful year... :(

By my count we have 17 players on the team now:

14 with guaranteed contracts (including Sura)
1 with partially guaranteed contract (Jacobsen)
2 with non-guaranteed contracts (Azubuike and Haryasz)

If Sura is unable to make a comeback and we don't add anyone else before the season starts, I think Haryasz actually have a good chance of making the 15-man roster. Haryasz will be in competition with Azubuike and Jacobsen for the last 2 roster spots. Seeing how we are a little short handed in the front court while overloaded in the swing position, I say Haryasz have a really good chance of making the team (assuming no more acquisitions).

The Rockets have 17 players signed. Jacobsen and guard Kelenna Azubuike have partially guaranteed contracts. The availability of guard Bob Sura, coming back from knee surgery, and forward Ryan Bowen, who had offseason hip surgery, for the start of camp is uncertain.

Not looking good if RyBo ain't in there. Is he looking likely gone for several months?

    No wonder we're stockpiling guard/small forwards. :p

Good move, Haryasz is well know for its ability to reduce penetration through the lane.

From this picture, am I the only one who thinks he has a stark resemblence to Ryan Bowen?

Actually, he may have a better chance to stick than your average training camp fodder. We could use one more big and there's not much else out there.
