Dikembe Mutombo and Juwan Howard were present at the U2 concert tonight. They were sitting in section 122 I believe, about 4 rows up. It was funny and cool seeing big Mutombo rocking out to U2. Bono actually gave a shout-out to him because of all the things he does for his home land.

Juwan was with his wife, Deke came with Jay Namoc (the Rockets equipment manager).

Bono and Deke have worked together on the ONE Project CLick here to learn more

I wonder if Biggio was there since they are his batting theme at MMP.

Wouldn't it be rough to be sitting in section 122 about 5 rows up?

Yes, it would. When U2 sing, I want to turn off the radio, not get close to them

After the opening act was done and they were setting things up for U2, Biggio walked around the arena floor and headed to one of the tunnels for some reason and as he was walking people were clapping and chanting Bi- ggi- o Bi- ggi- o Bi- ggi- o! Roger Clemens was there as well.

The concert was awesome. Biggio, Clemens, Mutombo, and Juwon were all in attendance. I had a great time. :)

Why would you need to be ashamed?

I think they play several (I guess each player has their own band? Anyone know?), but I know one that seems to get the most play is "New Year's Day"

U2 made perphaps the best album of the 80's. "The Joshua Tree"

Bono, Edge, and U2 definatley changed Rock and Roll. They sold out the Astrodome once in something like 10 or 12 minutes. And for those of us who grew up in the 80's, they were a cool sound sprinkled on the radio.

Biggio, Clemens, Mutumbo, etc. all grew up in the 80's. Big surprise.

Stop hating on the 80's and our best rock and roll band.

Metallica was the best heavy metal band of the 80's and early 90's.
