i've noticed the rockets have been warming up before games wearing sweats with the old rocket logo. have they always done that and i'm just now noticing or is this a new thing? i've always been fond of the old logo/lettering.
Yep, those warmups look sweet. Then they take them off to reveal the abomination that is our Rockets uniform.
the pajama stripes were here for 8 years, the candycane stripes have been here 7 years, why not redue the uniforms. if not, then change the white to gray, they are candycanes. i love the road uniforms, hate the home and oh, the mcD uniforms need to be upgraded, i was looking at the mavs unis and they have small white stripes between colors to add depth plus a star on the center neckline but the rockets mcD has nothing but red with a huge yellow side stripe. very elementary. and change the logo back to the glory days. sheesh. actually,just go back to the championship jerseys entirely. tad brown,morey,rosas,les are overthinking to find something new but no matter what they come up with, it will suck compared to the championship jerseys
true story : one game in 2006 i wore my white home jersey to the game with some friends, when i came home i got a prank call at midnight saying in a slow deep voice "caaandy-caaaannnnne""caaaandy-caaane" over and over just like in the movie joyride.
I would love for us to go back to the old jerseys. Not the pin stripes but championship years. They were so clean.
Maybe if the Rockets go back to the pinstripe dildo uniform just for half a season next year... us fans would be more grateful for the current crappy (yet still a bit better than the pinstripe dildo ones... just a little) weird space pr0no suit uniform.
Does anyone not prefer the early 90's uni's to the drek they have now? Why hasn't the front office figured this out? Les is awful at picking uni's.
i love the dallas unis that have simply mav on the front all in lowercase. as for the rockets, they definitely need to go back to late 80s early 90s jerseys. at least use it as a throw back uni. the mcdonalds jersey is a joke.
I think we should keep the logo we have now but add yellow to it somehow! As for jerseys I say add pin stripes to the alternates and darken the red a little bit and then get white ones just like it, make those the primary jerseys! Then for a new alternate, use the same style we have now but black with red stripes and yellow trim in there somewhere!
Yeah, I am loving the Rockets new warm up gear. I want to know where we can get the pants? The Red tear away pants with the old school logo is just so money.
