When I think about how crappy the Rockets have played after having perhaps their best game of the season in the retro uniforms, got me thinking about whether the PJs could be cursed. In the 8 years of the PJs, we've had exactly ONE 50 win season, no division titles, four lottery campaigns, two playoff series wins, and one Stockton buzzer beater...

I just came up with the idea today, so it's in the VERY early stages of development. I don't even know if we could do something like this, but would anybody want to come down to Galveston to burn some stuff from the PJs era? I'll do this poll now to gauge the interest of the board and then I'll work on getting permits and stuff like that.

I am DEAD serious about this. Have a big bonfire and BURN away the cursed pinstripes and grinning dildo from our memories. We could even have some beer and stuff and make a party out of it...

This really means nothing, but I'd go if I were in town.

Sounds fun except that I spent a lot of money to get those jerseys. I don't think I could willingly burn them.

Besides, once they've been gone for about 10+ years people will think that they're cool.

I never bought one. Couldn't stand them.
I'd love to come watch, though, if allowed. ;)
    We need some good karma.

    NO.

That Pjs are definitely not popular but in the PJs we drafted Yao. That is enough to cover all the negative A-Train listed.

This is about symbolism....out with the old and in with the new. I'm sure most people have an old T-shirt or cap that they wouldn't mind parting with...You'll probably be able to pick something up this offseason for five bucks or less anyways, especially when the new stuff gets unveiled. The red and gold symbolizes heart, guts, and the winning attitude. The pinstripes represent nothing but failure and disappointment...

trust me, NOBODY will think the current jerseys are cool 10 years from now.

You guys will regret it. When we are defending the championship three years in a row, people will pay big bucks to buy those unis to commemorate how far we have gone from one of the worse stretch of years in franchise history.

It would be alot more symbolic if we just had the bonfire in Houston after the game on Saturday. Someone needs to call up all the media outlets as well! Not me...
