Looks like the Rocks pick up another free agent (Mo), they shouldn't stop there. The roster is filling up and some are on the outside looking in. This leaves the Rocks with several options to finish the offseason. I consider only a few Rockets untouchable or have no trade value. We know who they are, so who does that leave. Rogers, Drew, Bullard, Collier, Williams, 4.5 guy, many 1st rd draft picks. IMO, these people have no future in Houston. We should do something to help in the rebuilding process. A high draft pick or a player whose contract is up next year would sufice. Now that Mo has committed, this has been a good offseason by me. Now its time to push it over the top. ------------------ "Chucky who? I thought we were talking about basketball?" Charles Barkley [This message has been edited by Colby (edited August 24, 2000).]
I think we should keep the team as is.Unless you can do something with Drew.Who needs a 3point threat that cant shoot 3s and barely get the ball up court or throw down to the post! ------------------
Actually, Drew's value to our team may have just risen, if the Mo signing goes through. If Mo is the low post presence that he's touted as, and he has any passing ability, a legitimate three point may be a asset. ------------------ - hoopjunkie www.GotstaGetsPaid.com

The addition of Mo is excellent if we can get a defensive specialist at the 4. Maybe package Thomas with Drew. Jerome Williams would be nice. ------------------
I think everyone should actually see Jason Collier play outside of the rookie review before passing judgement. Maybe the guy will suck, but shouldn't we at least watch him play before deciding, or is everyone here psychic? ------------------ Save Our Rockets and Comets SaveOurRockets.com
I'd give Collier two years before making a decision. With Taylor, Thomas, Cato, Dream clogging up the 4/5 spots, I don't think a rookie will see many minutes. Next year, with Dream gone and maybe Taylor gone, Collier will get a legitimate look. I also don't see him traded, considering the Dec.15 issue and the appearance of admitting a mistake at the draft. ------------------ "There's 1,000 different things we're looking at, but there's not a lot of things there." -- Rudy T., apparently after taking a hit of acid.
