I have no idea where you get these perspectives of him... He's a family man, and he's going to lean towards what his family wants most likely. He said it himself, that his family loves living in Houston. Give this BS up dude. The bashing-McGrady-Bandwagon has passed. It's time to support him, given that he IS the X-Factor for our team. And if you're gonna sit here and bash the guy, at least have something to back your opinion instead of just finding ways to criticize him ignorantly.
yea but y do they have 2 wait till nov 23?, that seems a ways away for where t-mac is at as of right now. He might as well go back to chicago if they still want him to rehab.
You're giving McSkillzlab way too much credit. McBillboard has never shown an ability to use a mental filter and say only the "right things". McEmotional has almost always said exactly what's on his mind, even to his own detriment: It's on Me I never had the team Feels good to be in the 2nd round My centers the best in the league I predict the Lakers to win the title Kobe's the best player If McG says he's not doing this for the contract year, I'd tend to believe him. The man does have pride and that could be his motivating factor. Why is that so hard to believe? Or are you just predisposed to assume the negative with McPolarizing?
so how many games is that 13 or something like that t-mac will miss isnt to bad, but you have to think getting an mri on the 23 means he will have to wait past that date
Yeah I agree, if he's going to be out till Nov 23 then he should probably go back to do some more rehab with grover, to make sure that his coming back at 110%!!!!! PS. It was kind of weird seeing him in the #3 jersey than #1.... -rocketblaze
Is media day only Interview's or are there pictures of the new and returning players to?!?!?! -rocketblaze

thx for the pix and videos guys. man it's gonna be weird for a while seeing tmac wearing #3. may confuse him with ariza for awhile i remember how people comment about tmac's chicken legs. I see it's similar to ariza too...just an observation? can't wait for the season (even preseason!) to start!
This doesn't make sense. Why would he opt for a potentially career ending surgery with an initially forecast recovery period of 12 months on the heels of a career year? Or did he prophetically know that he was going to be this much better after the surgery, and otherwise would have preferred to continue playing lethargically and in pain as long as he got paid?
Read between the lines guys. Mcgrady feels ready, could be ready, but the Rockets organization hasn't seen him for a while and doesn't know that yet. That's why they are saying one thing and he's saying another.
For me the biggest thing is how happy he is. So either he's turned into the biggest bull****** in the world, or he honestly believes what he says.

he has. during his vid, he said he feels ready, but the doctors told him to give himself some extra time and he's fine with that.
