This may be in the wrong forum but this is where everybody is. Is there any word yet on what the Rockets new colors, uniforms, logo will be like yet? It is probably still early for that but has anybody overheard Rudy T. or the janitor discussing it? Any speculation?
They discussed going with Green/Blue and white, but decided that teams that wear those colors can't play defense and don't win championships, so they will stick with Red, Yellow and Blue. DaDakota
They also discussed sticking with a 3-guard, perimeter/penetration team with no defense, but teams that play that way get smacked back to the ABA. So they decided a makeover was in order by picking Yao Ming, instead.

4-4 against the Mavs is a nice skin to put on the wall when the bar is low I guess. Get Francis some playoff experience and your talk will make much more sense.
I agree, 28 win teams smacking around your ABA ass by THIRTY SEVEN POINTS and knocking you out of the Division title doesn't make much sense.

The first 1,000 threads about our uniforms we didn't. Why does Dallas always think everything is about them? Maybe we just like to see how many ways we can bash people who start yet another uniform thread.

There are a lot of those here but I am not one of them. I was around for the James Donaldson, Uwe Blob, Bill Wennington, Mike Izzulino, Adrian Dantley, Randy White, Doug Smith, Bubba Wells, Tony Dumas, and Popeye Jones days. For the most part though, Dallas is a fair-weather sports town. It drives me nuts.
When will the new uniforms be done? Will they be done in time for the opening of the new arena for next year?
I hope they go back to the red and gold, but add a kind of metallic tint to the unis (like Seattle did a few years ago with their colors). I think that would be cool, along with going to the newer style collars (like the ones NJ has). If we did those 2 things and went with an updated design of the old uniform that would look cool. Besides, we won 2 championships with red and gold, why the hell did we change it right aftewards? Oh yeah, sorry to get back on topic
