I'm fine with the colors and maybe even the uniforms. What bothers me is the drippy paint on the "R" -- it just looks childish to me. It's not supposed to be a horror movie title from the 30's... I'd appreciate cleaner lines.
the thing i have a problem with is our font type. It just looks like the font used on chinese takeout menu's..... I prefer more simple font types like dallas/ny/miami/tornoto....ect Changing the font type would make our uniforms look much better regardless of our really bad logo...
I like the R logo. The new uniforms I find to be pretty sleek, but I agree that they're trendy. They'll have to be changed eventually. But the R is tight! It reminds me of this:
dude, i'm not hating on the Rockets new logo. Its just a straight up copy of the Quake logo. Someone who designed played some PC Games.
anybody else think that we may have changed everything to appease the chinese when yao got here? going to a communist red... maybe it is just me looking at the politics. also, rumors were rampant here at different times of us having an alternate black and red jersey. i have seen that picture of tmac w/ it on. anybody know anything about that?
I don't know if any team in the NBA has come up with their old logos. I like this logo.I would just love to see some alternavite jerseys and that's it. Logo is face of org dough.
You're r****ded and it's photoshopped. I always thought our new logo looked like something from a Dracula movie with the dripping blood.
That ain't fire, that's drippy blood which is perfect for the Halloween Rockets. Now all ya need is some fangs to go along with the rest of the logo and it'd be perfect.

the people who see blood are the same ones who saw a dildo in the old logo. the "R" would be a perfect secondary logo, but it sticks out like a sore thumb when grouped with the other teams' primary logos. the uniforms are a little bland, obviously an attempt to compensate for the loud 95-03 jerseys, but they're ok. as long as they keep putting the retro jerseys in the 2k games, i'll be allright.
Sticking out/uniqueness is a good thing . . . to me. I like, nay, love the Ketchup/Mustard unis. But you're also talking about a city that when asked to wear red to the game, didn't. I would've loved to see a sea of red. Also, they handed out glitter pom poms that made clapping & waving at the same time impossible.
i don't like the current logo much. it's just flat. no depth whatsoever. i would have preferred they'd leave out the circle. but it's 10 times better than the dildo.
If you have to EXPLAIN it, then it doesn't work IMO. You shouldn't have to EXPLAIN what a logo means, it should be obvious. I agree with whoever said the font makes it hard to see who is who on the court. I thought it was just me.
