I read earlier in the preseason that all of the home games would be broadcast in HD and so far I haven't seen that. I assume it's due to it being preseason. if not is this still coming? if so, are we going to have to use an HD over the air antenna to get it? currently I have uverse, and after having a one year hiatus without HD I was really excited when I heard the announcement...but I've yet to see any of it.
yea, they tease you buy airing the pre-game show on the HD channel but immediately remove the feed when the game starts.
which hd channel? are you referring to uverse? I've only been able to see the games on channel 755, which isn't hd I don't think.

I would appreciate some help with this as well. I have Dish Network, and while I have gotten every game, I cannot find it in the HD like it was discussed in the offseason. If anyone has any clues, I would be very grateful.
FSSW HD is channel 1353 on U-Verse. At least it was before they changed the channel lineup a few days ago.
It doesn't appear that any have been broadcast in HD yet, hopefully once the reg season starts, they will all be on fsnHD
fssw is no 1753 the HD channels are now the regular channels with a 1 in front of them. the only problem I see...is fssw is always listed as off air...so the rockets game doesn't even show when I try to set it to record...I just set it to record from 7pm-10pm, hopefully they show the game tonight or I'll be pissed.
Because it is preseason and nobody watches it. It is more expensive to broadcast in HD, and if they aren't going to make any ad revenue why would they do it? The commercials on FSN during the preseason games have all been for other FSN shows. No third party money=no HD.
I'm pretty certain everyone understands the logic of WHY you would not broadcast in HD. however that does not explain whether they ARE or ARE NOT doing it. the original question was, are they simply not broadcasting or am I imagining it, the answer is now obviously that they simply are not currently.
I also have U-Verse. Just wait for the regular season, if it's still not showing, THEN I'll start b****in.

*sigh* I don't see where anyone was b****ing. most of us simply were hoping to see it in hd, or in my case were wondering if we were missing something at all. reading comprehension is really low on the bbs these days, I see.
I've mentioned this a couple times previously, but just to reset... All Rockets home games during the REGULAR season (and anything on TNT/ESPN/ABC) will be in HD. Selected road games will be in HD depending upon whether or not the court they are on is HD ready. None of the preseason games are broadcast in HD except for the one's on TNT.
