No one doing any update of Yao Ming's activities in Day 2 ??

Okay, first activity after the morning team practice and press conference:

He took David Stern and D Mutombo back to his alma mater for a NBA Read-To-Achieve for small kids.

Then in the afternoon, he invited David Stern, Peja and Bill Russell to join him in a Reebok sponsored get-together with his fans at his home park, the Yao's House

Here is the link to the Photo Gallery of that activity, and some selected pictures:

Then towards the evening, Yao Ming participated in the premier of the image promotional film he took for the Shanghai Municipality in his capacity as its spokesperson.

Here is the link to that Photo Gallery , and some interesting photos of that activity.

That is so funny; when I was in Tibet last month, I was like WTF is up with all these hair salons with the private rooms in the back? Do people here really get their hair cut that much? Then I saw the red lights come on at night and figured it out.

Well, it was because the get-together with basketball fans at the Yao's House is a Reebok sponsored event. I think Pejas is also one of the many stars endorsed by Reebok.

Anyway, Yao Ming has mentioned in the past, he like the way those Eastern European players play....Sabonis, Divac and Pejas are all his favorite players.

Must be weird to be an Eastern European player playing in an American basketball league in a series of games in China.

If anyone is interested (and it seems like y'all are) - a lot of the players (and members of both dance teams) were at Guandii in Fuxing Park last night.

TMac left at about 1:15am - Deke was there a little longer - CWebb left just before 2:00am.

Hand it to C-Webb to be at the Fuxing Park the longest.
