Take the satellite with you just keep the bill sent to the old address and autopay by credit card. You'll still get the houston locals aand fox sports regional houston... Or you you can digital cable and get nba league pass.

Showplace Lanes on N-I35 always has Rocket ball on the big screen in their sports bar. There are usually some Rocks fans there too. At least this was true up until 99 season. I have been stuck in Dallas since then and am forced to watch Mav's on local TV.

I just called DirecTV and informed them of my new address in Houston [IMG], [IMG]. I will now receive the Houston locals as well as Fox Sports SW from the Houston zip, which means Rockets games instead of the Spurs.

Thanks Old Man, you've made my day. ;D

You could just learn how to program the eprom in the Direct TV unit and you would get everything for free, all the time.

If I get their basic time-warner cable (no satellite) and I know that has Fox Sports SW - but does that channel show the Rockets games as it does in Houston??

Wiz, unless you a Surs fan, Austin local FOXSW will not help. FOXSW shows local market sports for Dallas, Houston, & San Antonio. That means Spurs games, YUK. I called DirecTV yesterday and gave them a Houston address and when I got home I had Houston local channels. Plus, my FOXSW is now registered to a Houston address, which means ROCKETS BABY! [IMG]

Nope, you'd have to get the digital cable and get the NBA League Pass. Unfortunately, FSSW only shows the Spurs here in Austin.
