Whether or not the Rockets can win a championship this year is irrelevant to me (or so I keep telling myself) but the first step is to beat the Spurs twice in a row. ROCKETS IN 7 I'm skipping work tomorrow to watch them at 8am Beijing time because the Rockets are more important

It's actually kind of a weird story, I grew up in Queens and I've never even been to Houston, but my dad became a massive Rockets fan after watching the '95 finals in the Garden, so I was pretty much raised on the Rockets. I didn't love the Rockets as religiously as him until I moved to Beijing for high school though, back then the Rockets were like everybody's home team Also I'm of Chinese descent so it's kinda hard *not* to love Yao, you know? But hey, everybody on Clutchfans is Asian so I think I'll fit right in
