Since it was on the radio last night and officially annouced today - I guess y'all should find out too - Tim (Clutchfans.com member and VP of Rockets Marketing) has taken a job with the New Orleans Hornets to be their CMO. If you watched the game last night he was sitting courtside with George Shinn. Good luck Tim!
Wow! Thanks for the scoop. (hope I didn't miss another thread!) Good luck, Tim, and stick around. You're an asset to the BBS, and a great guy.
Its all part of a secret plan. Tim will be Les' secret weapon in convincing Shinn to trade us PJ Brown
ah man...I heard that on the radio and I was gonna post a thread to congratulate Tim on his his new job....but as is usual with me these days...I got distracted. So...however belated...and if he even comes here anymore.... Congrats Tim......I hope you will come by and say hi from time to time...you were cool to hang with us and listen to our gripes Best of luck in the future.
Damn, that's mean we are not going to have any free "die hair red" for the suit anymore? Goood luck Tim, thanks for everything...
Thanks for doing a great job here and good luck in New Orleans. I hope the new holder of your job in Houston can do even half as well as you did.
no... he ws the VP of Marketing with the Rockets NOw he is the CMO( Chief Marketing Officer) or as Geno put it the other night...President of Marketing for the New Awlins Hornets seems like a upward move to me....but then again...it is the Hornets... yaomania...since you obviously work for the Rockets...can you make sure to send him a link in case he hasnt thought of coming by lately? Id like to make sure he realizes how appreciated he was here.
I'd love to - 'cept we have no access in the office. But I'm sure someone knows his email . . .(firstnamelastintial@rocketball.com)
oh well..yea...I do have his Rockets email addy in my book(ive talked to him offsite before)...but I assumed he was already with the Hornets since he was at the game with the owner. Is this position not going into effect till after the season? btw...just curious...are you free to tell us what dept you work in?...marketing I assume since you are always on top of the promotions before they get announced..I understand if you cant say....we appreciate your headsups either way.
Congrats and good luck to Tim. He's got his work cut out for him.. marketing the Hornets in New Orleans? Yikes.
