I have had a number of Rockets-related dreams over the years, and last night, I had two of them. So consider sharing your Rockets dreams here in the thread, as long as they're G or PG-13 rated! As a kid, for example, I dreamed that I was a Rocket and passed to Rudy T (when he was a player, for you youngsters) for a game winning shot over the Lakers. Last night, I dreamed that Ron Artest was still a Rocket and that I was hanging at the first new Rockets training camp session with some reporters (not realistic at all.) One reporter leaned over to me and said "hey, is that Ron Ron up in the stands over there, dressed like an old woman?" It kind of looked like Ron Ron, but I wanted to cover for him, so I told the reporter, "no way, I know that woman. It's Mrs. Jenkins, a friend of my family." After practice, I went over there and said "It's you, isn't it?" Ron Ron got pretty mad, but I told him his secret was safe with me and we did a fist bump. The 2nd Rockets dream may belong in D&D, but let's give it a try. I dreamed that we had a Rocket we were counting on for more scoring this year, given Tracy and Yao's statuses (stati?). But this Rocket, Barack Obama, had also been elected President. When I correlated this, I freaked out. How would this Obama guy be able to contribute to the Rockets on a nightly basis if he had all the distractions of the Oval Office? What a crock! What I like about that last dream is how much more I was worried about the Rockets than any issue facing the nation. I clearly wanted him to be concentrating on his basketball. Okay, please share.
I remember a dream where I took the Rockets to the NBA Finals. But then Michael Jordan made a comeback earlier that specific season and he schooled me. Rockets still won though.
I had a nightmare that Jordan never played baseball and our franchise never one a championship...then I woke up.
to answer the thread. I had dream where i played with the 07-08 rockets witout yao. And I was just dunking like crazy. I was jumping 20 feet in the air and throwing it down. Than I woke up. and I couldnt dunk anymore.
Good, at least he wouldn't be systematically trying to shove government control down our throats anymore. Oh wait, this isn't D & D. I usually have unfair trade scenario dreams (for the better of the Rockets of course). Recently, I dreamed that we traded Battier for Oden.
actually i had a rockets related dream last night it was playoffs 2010 and we had just upset the defending champ lakers i remember telling my friend who i was watching with that it was on now that i would be giving all my laker friends hell for the rest of the summer even if the rockets didnt win it all.

Actually, I am for this trade if you buy into the Benjamin Button theory of Oden. He will just keep getting younger!
i actually had a dream couple of weeks ago that i was playing the all star game and i was checking Yaoming. somehow everyone on the court was all about my height and i scored a fadaway jumper in Yao's face lol

i've had tons of these. more frequently when i was younger and thought my prospects of playing basketball at a high level were more feasible, but still. 1) one i remember from a long time ago was extremely lucid. i was i guess a bench warmer, all i remember was sitting on the bench watching dream and clyde, and it was a tight game, a tense environment. rudy called my number for some end-of-game scrub minutes, and i played a couple of possessions . i remember i was guarding greg anthony, and that glen rice was on the floor with me (before he actually was on the team). 2) another one from childhood i remember was that i was included in the barkley trade, and being heartbroken. horry told me on the train (not a plane) to phoenix that he hated the rockets and was plotting violent revenge. i offered to help. 3) more recently, like about a year ago i dreamed i was an assistant, although van gundy was still coaching the team. he swore at the players alot, and my dad, who was also an assistant, was constantly undermining him, playing good cop to jvg's bad, and keeping tracy from getting upset. van gundy got mad at my dad for this, they had it out, and he fired us both. 4) a non-rockets dream i had once that was not fun, was where me and my gf were at home watching a movie and rafer alston came in the door and held us up at gun point. i was like 'hey you're rafer', but he was like 'no i'm not! i don't even know who that is.' he shot my dog. a very scary dream.
