Ming and Williams, then trade Williams to Wizards with Moochie for Brown and their pick, and pick Wilcox or MDJr.

    Francis, Brown
    Mobley, Torres
    Dunleavy, Rice, Morris
    Griffin, Brown, Mo T, KT
    Ming, Cato, Collier

    or

    Francis, Brown
    Mobley, Torres
    Griffin, Rice, Morris
    Brown, Wilcox, Mo T, KT
    Ming, Cato, Collier

And trade Mobley for whatever we could get for his whining ass.

I started out thinking Dunleavy, Marcus, but now I'm going international...

    Trade #5, #15 to Clips for #8, #12.

#8 - Nene Hilario; we need toughness in the frontcourt. Nene sounds like he brings strong shot-blocking, rebounding skills to a body of Maurice Taylor's size with huge wingspan in addition to the athleticism admired in projects like Stoudamire. Unlike Stoudamire, Nene is supposed to be more developed offensively, can play around the basket and even face up. Hilario's an unknown, but he sounds more promising in terms of what he can bring immediately than a guy like Stoudamire or even Wilcox. The Rockets can't afford to wait around for any more projects, in my opinion. Obviously, no one knows jack about this guy; we'll have to see how he pans out in workouts.

    # 12 - Bostjan Nachbar; handles the ball appropriately for a swingman, but 6-9. People drooling over Qyntel Woods ought to give this guy a look-over. He might not be as athletic as Woods, but he's still athletic, it seems. In addition, NBADraft says he has a sweet shot, almost as good as Peja's (they compare Nachbar to Peja). His stats from this season don't seem to bear that out; seems a little streaky, but if his shooting is as good as hyped, I'm sold.

I could really go for this primary rotation in a couple years:

Steve/Mooch or Tierre or some backup PG
    Cuttino/Oscar
    Nachbar/TMo
    Mo T/Nene
    Eddie/Nene

I'd want Gooden and Butler. I really like Gooden, he kinda reminds me of a poor man's K. Malone.

Trade Kenny and 15th for Butler and a have rotation of:

    C: Cato / Taylor
    PF: Griffin / Gooden
    SF: Rice / Morris
    SG: Mobley / Butler
    PG: Francis / Norris

Think of all the alley opps we'd have between Gooden and Francis!

I wouldn't mind seeing Cat being dealt for Magloire and a pick. Then CD could package the 15 and whatever Hornets pick recieved to move up in the draft. Pick the 2 best wing players available in Dunleavy, Butler, Tsika and Woods. Butler at the 2, MD or Tsika at the 3 and Maloire at the 5. OK...time to go to bed. I'm already dreaming.

I would do a Cat for Magloire deal straight up. I don't think Cha would trade Magloire for a SG.

Magloire will put up similar stats to Jermaine O'Neal, IMO. He's what, 23 years old or something?

Young big men with promise, do not get traded for one-dimensional SGs. Moreoever Cat might not fit in well in Cha's offense.

I would trade KT and the Tor #1 for Magloire.
