It's another banner and I'll take it, but I wish it meant as much as it used to. They can't stop mucking around with the game.
I think it is ok to appreciate the Division Title. Yes divisions are minimized these days but the Rockets last couple of division titles before today were 1995 and then in 2014. True, the team has bigger aspirations, but fly that banner!
Crazy how it used to matter, like in 2015, but with our weak division and bigger goals it’s pretty meaningless. Still, great to lock it up this early and to see it up there since Rockets don’t have that many division wins.
As much as we downplay this, the NBA found both this and the Warriors winning the Pacific to be front-page newsworthy. Boring.
