Every year, I put together a Rockets calendar to have something to stare at in my office as I desperately try to avoid actually working. j/k This year, I am going to provide the calendar to cc.net members who want it. Basically, the calendar is laid out such that on days the Rockets have a game, the logo for the opponent that night is in the calendar spot. On the facing pages, I use the wallpaper images at rockets.com. There is only one wallpaper at rockets.com that I did not use last year and was hoping for more images (1024x768 or better) to use on the facing pages. I have the calendar created already and as soon as I get enough facing images, I will post the calendar on my website for all to access. Personally, I print the calendar out on a color printer, take the print to Kinkos, and have it spiral coil bound with a thin cardboard back page and a clear plastic front page. It really looks slick and I gave one each to Calvin and Bill last year at one of the preseason games. Anyone interested? Anyone have images?
I'm real interested, unfortunately I don't have any good pics to contribute. Also, I'm more than happy with my Power Dancers calander.
Something along the lines of the wallpaper images on Rockets.com (http://www.nba.com/rockets/fans/wallpaper_rockets.html), but with the new logo. All of the images up there now (except for the new logo image) have the old logo in the image. EDIT: Did I use the word image enough in that sentance? LOL I am a geek, just not a photoshop geek. It seemed like there were some photoshop gurus who might have or be able to create something.
BTW, I could also use a clean image of the new Cavs, Hornets, and Grizzlies logos. The images I pulled from espn.com had the logo on a background color, and I would rather that the logo was on a white background.
