My recommendations to improve the 2nd half (little less) of the season.

    1. MORE DEFENSE, I KNOW I'M SHOUTING!!! Especially from our guards, they get beat more than an African drum. We should've hired Marvin Lewis from the Ravens.

    2. Better ball movement. The one-on-one hope someone double teams so we can kick it out for another missed 3 point opportunity is killing this squad. Pick and roll with back screens involving the other 3 players who stand around and don't rebound offensive misses.

    3. Fast break, fast break, fast break. We have the quickest guards in the L, let's push the rock and get other teams on their heels. Rudy, please insert a Jason Kidd time at this time.

    4. Kill small ball, teams have caught on and use this against us by posting up High salary, Low D moochie. For $3 plus mil, I expect $1 mil for D.

    5. Better overall coaching, I think we agree that Rudy and his assistants have been outcoached in couple of games we could have one. Make some timely substitutions.

When you look at our team on paper, they look pretty good:

We have one of the best backcourts:
    Francis, Mobley, Norris

    Our frontcourt isn't half-bad either:
Griffin, Thomas, Cato (when he's making double-doubles). Especially when you consider the fact that most teams have crappy centers.

We should be winning with this team. The reason we're not is DEFENSE. Francis, Mobley, and Norris get punked too much. Kenny Thomas is great offensively, but plays no D.

Eddie Griffin is a step in the right direction, but we need to trade some of the other guys for defenders. Especially at the small forward and guard positions.

    Defense wins championships.

Man, you covered it all. THe only thing I would add is an indication that Langhi and Jason have to get some time.
