If so, is there any place in town (bar, club, restaurant?) that might show Rocket games thru DirectTV or whatever? I will be attending school here for the next 3 years and really don't want to rely on my family sending me videotapes. If anyone knows anything, please fill me in.

I live in DC in the NW near AU. Your best hope is the ESPN Sportzone downtown. Call them in advance to make sure they will carry the game. You get wailed on for food and drinks. (For football you need tickets, which are free, but you must spend 20$ minimum for each three hours)

    Also try the
    Fanatic's Sports and Billiards
    1520 K St NW
    Washington, DC 20005

There is probably a good bar near the MCI Center, but I"m not sure.

    Also try: http://www.wdcsports.com/sportsbars/

Thanks for the info. Apparently Rocket fans are rarities in our nation's capitol.

George Bush is a rocket fan. I don't know about his son though. I guess that's one that did live in D.C.
