Of course, before the Jazz there was the Sonics. I remember so much hatred being spewed out at Seattle when we played them in '97. Back then it was a foregone conclusion that Utah was our b**** - because we had beaten them twice in a row during our championship years. However, I do agree that the flopping, illegal pick-setting, dirty, Utah Jazz is now our biggest enemy, but they won't be for long. As soon as Stockton/Malone retire - it will be the new Chicago Bulls. -Turbo
I think that if we had beat the Sonics in those series in the early 90's, we would have a couple of more championships cause we definately would have beat the bulls. So I would say the sonics were our biggest enemy until a few years ago. ------------------
The Jazz (ugh!) make me want to puke my guts out. Everytime I see Stockton and Malone I want to SCREAM! Damn incest pieces of ****!!!!!! ------------------

It has to be the Jazz... kinds reminds me when the Oilers were here. The Streelers were the Oilers natural enemy. (Until the Buffalo Bills incident) ------------------ RAWW Paid for by the Frudy T. Gin and Juice Daquari Factory.
Gotta be the Jazz. No one else inspires such hatred as that bunch of ****s. ------------------ "Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen" -Hudson
#1: San Antonio Spurs i can't believe no one else said this one. where else do hordes of rocket faithful travel to yell in another team's arena? if you've never done it...make the journey! it is great! it's almost a ut/a&m rivalry! try listening to a san anto talk show. according to them dave was and is better than hakeem. tim has the best footwork they have ever seen. disgusting! don't they remember that ass whoopin' we....sorry, hakeem laid on them?!!
3. Sonics 2. Knicks (I just hate them) 1. Pete Chilcutt (this guy really sucks) Matt Bullard Fan Club www.AirBullard.com ------------------
Nice call, verse - Denver was the first team I really hated as a Rockets fan. Fat Lever, Alex English - they were thorns in the side for the Rockets in 85-86. Bill Hanzlik used to get pretty brutal with Hakeem. This has really fallen by the wayside. That was nothing compared to the Sonics, IMO. The Rockets and Sonics were ugly enemies in the late eighties. The Jazz are a natural, too, with their false choirboy image. The Rockets owned 'em until 1997. San Antonio makes a great rivalry as well. They're close, and they've got Dusty. 'Nuff said. I thought the Rockets were developing a rivalry with the Suns during the championship years. However, it was never that contentious like the above, and the two haven't run into each other in the playoffs, so it never really came to fruition. Pippen doesn't exactly make me love the Trailblazers. Kevin McHale was a Celtic, so throw out the T-Wolves. The Lakers stand in everybody's way as defending champions. The Clippers - they play in LA. Dallas, I hated them in the Ro Blackman/Wennington/Donaldson/Harper/Brad Davis era. Sacramento - they're exciting, but they're not the Rockets. Golden State, there's just not much to hate, but there's no reason to root for 'em unless your dad's one of their coaches. Vancouver, you can stick yer tomatoes... And that's just the West Screw it, they're all enemies. Either you're with us or against us. ------------------ The Badministrator
