http://www.roombavac.com Browsing one of those "top tech gifts" things and saw this. An autonomous, automatic robotic vacuum cleaner. The reviews are positive, and it is (relatively) cheap. Definitely pretty cool. Anybody seen/heard any more about it? It really does look like something out of the Jetsons to me!
I haven't heard about the one ur implying about, but I've seen something very similar at Brookstone (& I believe sharper image has them as well) It's an oval-saucer shaped vaccum, that's cordless. All you do is turn it on, & vrrooom, its off. No work for you, now how's that or an easy chore!!
