Yeah, I remember when he toured with Little Feat. And I've heard "Sally" a million times. Hard to believe we've lost another one. He was a hell of a singer. Things like this make me feel mortal. The mortal coil... I've always understood the mortal part, as things like this point out, but what's up with the coil? I can never remember. Shakespeare came up with that, didn't he? (sigh)
I'm sorry to hear this- he was awesome --the "Power Station" album. What band did he play with before he was solo? Was he ever in Lil' Feet with Lowell George? He was outstanding-creative - good beat.
