    ...well, actually...

...the Donald did remember that meeting Junior had at the family tower that he once remembered didn't happen...

...or, that that meeting DID happen, just not about what we thought it was about...

...I must admit, I'm having trouble keeping up with all this myself, and being a brainwashed, stupid, lying n!gg3r is in my DNA...

...can't imagine what it's like for the bumbling, doddering leader of the free white supremacists....

    Plea bargain?

Mystery recess triggers speculation in Manafort trial
Interesting to also note that the prosecution team criticized the judge and essentially demanded an apology... and the judge essentially complied:
So the prosecution again challenged the judge on statements on Friday...

is there any indication of this? it's my understanding he chose not to testify and his defense team decided to forgo calling any witnesses.

i feel it's more like why waste the time and money when you're going to get a pardon.

Not presenting a case doesn't necessarily suggest that. It is possible the defense team honestly believes that the prosecution didn't present a strong enough case. Or... the defense wants the jury to think that. Or... the defense knows that they don't have a chance, and a deal is being discussed.

    Possible but unlikely.

More than likely it means that Manafort did not want to be cross examined, nor did he want to have any possible witnesses open any doors on cross examination.

It isn't unheard of but a little surprising that Manafort couldn't find anyone to testify that would be limited on cross.

btw, this evidence came up in the manafort trial. You know, the trial that had nothing to do with trump's campaign or administration...

The defense has a Trump card in their pockets: Judge Ellis.

DNA? Only human beans have DNA, not some lying “dog”... I learned that from Alex Jones and Dr. Phil. Y’all ain’t all bad, that Denzel Washington stands for the national anthem.
