Profile on Taylor and Collier and their strength conditioning workouts with Anthony Falsone. Mentioned that Taylor's never had to work that hard and has relied on natural talent in the past to get by. Said Collier's always had to work hard, because he has less natural talent. Slow news day, I guess.
Taylor looked good. Jason looked good...in the weight room. On the court I imagine he still looks like himself. os
I agree they both looked good. Mo didn't look any bigger to me than he was before the injury, but he was wearing a loose t-shirt. Collier looked stronger than I've seen him, but he was lifting in the segment.
I love that part about Anthony Falsone, the Rockets physical trainer, paging Maurice Taylor twice every morning and then saying he doesn't have to come in today to workout(weight train) if he doesn't want to be an all-star and instead be like such and such....
Actually I liked the piece. It's better than the zero coverage done by other stations locally. The thing about getting paged was Falsone would ask, Do you want to be like so & so...meaning like an all-star, good players, not do you want to suck (as you all think) like Cato.. Collier was looking better, but we'll see how he actually PLAYS in a few days. Mo should be fine. It's nice to see him working out that hard, they were sweating like crazy. It shows his dedication and desire to improve. This season looks like it'll be something...
I liked the piece too, tozai. Was just disappointed it didn't give me something exciting to post to the board. Surprisingly Channel 13 covered the Chinese team last night, complete with video footage. I wasn't even paying attention, then heard Yao's name, and looked up to catch the final glimpse of the footage.
Zero coverage? I saw new footage of Yao last night that I have never seen before on Ch 2. They've been the only station I know of that has given the score of the last 3 games Yao played. They also had a report last week on Taylors progress so that was old news. 13 has done some stuff on the play at Westside as well so I don't know where you are coming from. os
At least you live were they cover the rockets because foxsport southwest does not represent 1 rocket docu a week a mav docu 3 to 4 time a week
