Born to Run has been my favorite CD since I was 14 and it is still my favorite, largely due to the Big Man. Very depressing for me personally.

Very sad but not surprising as I heard a couple of days ago that he had suffered a stroke. I knew his health had been failing him the last couple of years. One of the highlights of my life was seeing him along with the Boss at Bonnaroo in '09. Great, great, great show. Big Man - you will be sorely missed. RIP ++ :( :( :(

So weird, was just singing Springsteen lyrics in the car home from a birthday party.

Whether one likes Springsteen or not, one can't deny the power that Clemons brought to his music. The sax solo from Jungleland still gets my vote as the best of all time- yes, even over Davis, Coltrane, Junior Walker, etc.

My dad grew up in Philly, so I grew up with The Boss. Got to see Clemons on The Rising tour. RIP

I've become a big fan of "The Boss" and the rest of the E-Street band as I've grown older and man I loved what the big fella brought.
Sad news but I hope he's up there playing a mean solo with the other big man above.

Gave me a reason to post this-up there with the best halftime shows.

My vote for greatest sax solo would go to Joe Henderson on "Song for my Father".
