Actually, I don't know the answer. I was hoping one of you may have heard it before.

Sorry Doc, that was my bad. For some reason I was a dumba$$ and missed your 'imagination' guess. I'll make sure it won't happen again. [IMG]

fadeaway, you should be ashamed! You could have warned us beforehand that you did not have the answer, man! [IMG]

I need the answer to get past a certain point in a MUD I'm playing. If/when I find out the answer, I'll post it here. [IMG]

Of course if he's playing a MUD then there MUST be a webpage with the answer to the riddle somewhere!! I think fadeaway should look it up and get back to us with the answer!

I've tried all the riddle pages I could find, with no luck. [IMG]

Whenever I figure this thing out, I'll post the answer. I was thinking it might have been a common riddle that people have heard of before. Alas, no..

I say we find where he lives and kick his arse.

Merry Meeting Road.. that ought to narrow things down for ya [IMG]

I don't mind contending with hounds.. at least he's not releasing the robotic Richard Simmons! [IMG]

    fadeaway,

There is no such thing as a riddle with 4 contradictions that i have ever seen.

Based on that, I believe the riddle was designed around contradictions. Therefore, your answer is the word:

    contradiction

if not...good luch and maybe go find another MUD.

Okay, I'll take a shot at it.

I think it's spirit or soul.

    Let's break this thing down:

    What is broader than time

My guess - Jerry Krause, or Oliver Miller.

Yet more narrow than a strand of hair

    Shawn Bradley.

    Longer than an ancient rime

That epic Jamison thread started by OP (or, Dances With Wolves").

And shorter than a breath of air?

    Muggsy Bogues.

It is higher than the sky

    Sam Mack. [IMG]

But lower than the deepest sea

    David Falk. [IMG]

    Evil cannot touch it

Um, Trix? (Trix are for kids, silly!)

Nor will Good its master be

Dennis Rodman (or, again, Jerry Krause).

So did I, 'cept for that "lower than the deepest sea thing." No dice, though.
