A foul was called as noted by DD, on Scola.

I'll just go with what many say around here. He's paid ~20 million/year to do certain things. One of them is not to know how to give interviews. Want to rag on him for our losses, fine, pile it on as it's already happening. Give credit for the wins to all his teammates unless he hits some last minute shot, that's fine, already happens like that. Want to dissect his game play-by-play, fair enough.

What he says though...has nothing to do with his salary unless the Rockets organization has said it matters. They traded for him, knowing his personality. He seems to get along with his teammates just fine. I think if they had a problem with anything, they would talk to him. Sounds like most of them have told him, they feel sorry for the beating he's taking. Then again, it could just be them being nice. Rafer seems like the type to speak up, as does Deke.

    1. Tmac is the only superstar on the team ...true

    2. Brandon Roy makes 3 million a year while players like wade, arenas, al jefferson, jason kidd, shaq, carmelo, and several others make alot more than him, but they produce about the same. Theo ratliff makes 12 million a year and chris webber makes 13 million a year. It doesnt matter how much you get paid....chris kaman makes 10 millon a year. People get paid because management overpays them. Not tmacs fault he marketed himself well during his contract year.

    3. Yes he is a huge part of the offense...but would you rather have someone else taking those shots...and if you do feel that way...who would you want?

    4. Tmac takes the glory because welll.. he usually is the one who causes us to win

What's odd about this picture is:

    • A foul was called on Scola
    • Scola was actually in the process of shooting a free throw

I don't know why you would rip a guy just before the biggest game of the season. It's senseless. Wait until after the series. And to the chagrin of Justice...This series will not end tomorrow.

And as the Utah homer has been saying around the board - proof that Boozer does not obey Sloan and play dirty - he is really a nice guy who just wants to win fair and square.\

And Okur is thinking "Now all I have to do is get my forearm up into his neck and push up, while Carlos pushes down. Wow! Jerry was right, this is fun! And I get paid to do it!"

i think he's just telling how houston fans feel. when he struggles in the 4th, i'm frustrated as hell too.

i don't mind his articles. his criticisms are pretty standard of the typical tmac's criticisms. as long as he doesn't go crazy like some on this board and says he's a quitter and things like that.

It's funny how fast things change. Justice is a huge flip-flopper so I don't take his articles seriously. At least Blindbury is firm with his T-Mac bashing. Feigen is still their best & most objective writer IMO. Anna Megan is the "very best" though. :D

I'd like to bring some things to some people's attention. There are quite a few superstars in the NBA who are too young to make the league max. Alot of superstars are either still on their rookie contracts or on the max extension after the rookie contract.

Generally, you have to be a veteran to sign those huge contracts and often the player starts to decline before the end of it. See Shaquile Oneal, Jermaine Oneal, Chris Webber, Alan Houston and Jason Kidd. Also, I think those type of contracts are being phased out since people have realized this.

I can't think of one player other than Kobe Bryant that has lived up to that $20M deal. Don't expect Tracy McGrady to. It's more of bad GMing than a player not producing.

actually his team mates get the spot light for stepping up. he's the only scape goat when we lose but one has to take into consideration that this team is built around TWO superstars not ONE. the tmac we have playing on our team does not have the same mentality he had when he was in orlando. YES hes hampered by injuries and is not playing 100% but one would think that when his jumpers are not going in he would either drive in or shoot closer to the basket.
