Should Rockets consider a younger and healthier player with a similar level of skill if such a player is available?
The only player available that is better then Rice is Rashard, but he resigned with the Sonics. There is no one else out there. His injury is only day-to-day.
Do we really need a thread about "Rice's problematic health" when there's a "Rice Injured" thread at the top of the page?
Rice is day-to-day...it is just a "tweak", nothing serious and barely minor...happens all the time to all players...
The problem is that the younger healthier players with similar level of skill have also been injury prone (Nachbar, T-Mo). Thankfully it's only a minor injury so we're cool.
Nachbar isn't injury prone. He just had 1 injury. Injury prone is having a bunch of injuries in a long period of time.
I didn't mean it like that, I mean that those guys have also had injuries over the last few months. Truthfully Rice isn't injury prone, he had a foot injury that he didn't have time to let heal, and then the fluke injury last year. Other then that Rice has been pretty healthy threw his career.
Rice isn't injury prone. But of course he gets injured when he comes here. I hate when things like that happen.
Blame it all on New York. Seems alot of players that play for them or that have been traded by them are cursed with chronic injuries. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Don't start with the food thing again... I'm hungry and there's no good food within 10 blocks of me... I'm still craving that chicken sandwich from before
It's like we have an invisible force field, as soon as you pass through it everybody is brittle and injury prone!
Glen Rice will probably retire as a Rocket, we will live with his injuries, because, he has 2 more years left on a very, very lucrative contract that no one else wants,,,,,
I thought Ming's diet was why we were trying to get "big dog" robinson from Milwaukee... ok bad joke.
