610 just reported..... Rice tweaked a knee today and getting a MRI now. :(

Also, I think they said T.Brown was cut.

    For Glen Rice:

"Leg - Injured at 10/28 practice; being evaluated"

According to Sportsradio 610 KILT, he

"Rice went down with a knee injury during practice. An MRI is being performed, results will be available later."

Rudy continued saying the organization was concerned, but that they were going to "wait and see, but it didn't look real real serious."

If Rice happens to miss the opener, and with Kenny already out, who is the starting 3? Bostjan? Who would have thunk it ........

    Mabye Hawkins will start. lol

    ****!!!

He's been looking really good. Hope it's not serious... but it takes longer to get over injuries as you get older. He's had an amazing string of bad luck.

(so has the Rockets, apparently :()

The basketball gods were apparently not impressed with Les' hubris.

Don't worry guys. I wouldn't call this season shot. Rice looked good and was a nice piece, but he is not part of our future. We are certainly going to miss KT, but at least we might get to see what Boki can do with some regular PT.

Only other thing I could think of is Griff at 3 and Collier at 2. Scary, isn't it?

Good News. It is only a "minor strain of the patella tendon," and Rice is day-to-day, meaning there's a good chance he will be in the opener.

That's cool. I almost was worried that the lineup I listed above would come true. :D

If the injuries sustain through the first game or so ...we are VERY thin at the 3 and 4

Griffin, Nachbar and Hawkins ...THATS IT!!! ...

no Rice (maybe), no Morris, no Taylor, no Thomas

actually, I just noticed on the Rockets website that Collier is listed as a 4 ....looks like good ol JC will get plenty of PT for a game or two

Thank god, I was about to throw my monitor against the wall. That wouldn't have a good thing since I'm at work.

FIRE KEITH JONES NOW. There is a point at which you quit calling it "bad luck" and start referring to it as "systematic failure."
