Hey guys. Sorry for another random thread about relationship problems. Well this can't really be grouped into that category because this is a slightly different variation. I'm looking for ways people - or people you know of - or maybe even things done to you - have taken revenge on an ex to get back at them after a relationship ends. Long story short the relationship has ended (through no fault of my own) and within days she is messaging 3 seperate people on facebook with the message... "hey sorry for the random add.... but you look hot...." than after a few messages are exchanged back and forth numbers are given and told to "...msg me whenever you're free" I can obviously resort to this type of retaliation and do the same to her because this is the type of person she is... Something along the same lines happened after her last relationship ended (was friends at the time) and am aware it is purely based on wanting the other person to feel as miserable as possible. So guys feel free to share anything at all! It will all be much appreciated. (yes i'm aware i could take the moral high ground. But when you mess with me - you get the favour returned)
Best revenge is to completely ignore her. Make yourself disappear from her life. She obviously didn't do anything like screw your brother so no need for really hurting her. The worst thing that you can do to her is to completely ignore her. Her imagination is worse than what you can do in reality. Don't talk about her with any mutual friends. Just carry on as if you've never met her. It will drive her crazy, whether she still likes you or not.
Taking the high road is always the best idea... On a childish side note though, "minorly inconveniencing" people is an awesome method of revenge, although it's a must that you live near them and have access to their house. I have a friend who once got into a disagreement with someone else and then went to his house and unscrewed all the lightbulbs just enough to where they wouldn't work but were still in the sockets and the other guy thought all his lights burned out (bad pun alert: he wasn't the brightest bulb...) and then had to buy all new ones. Other examples include hiding pillows, leaving eggs/fish out at random hidden places, taking the lead out of someone's favorite mechanical pencil, etc etc. There. I'm a terrible person, but little things are so much more obnoxious than big statements. But seriously, take the high road.
It's more than just taking the high road. You're your own worst enemy right now by letting this constantly eat you up. Let it go and move on before you do something stupid.
The best revenge by far is living well. I broke up with a girl a few years ago and she went ballistic when she saw I was getting on with my life.
All good points heading into the same direction - which is where i intend to be going anyway... Just wanted to see if there were any intruiging ideas out there. I'm actually leaving to go to the UK and join the British Army in a couple of months - so my Australian accent better pull some of the ladies ha. I've been in this situation before (relationship ending EXTREMELY badly) and i know that things do get better. But right now it absolutely sucks. And she's told me she still likes me (which i know is a lie and don't believe) but she kind of likes one of the guys she has been messaging. That's the part that i don't get and hurts the most - to be having the time of our lives to all of a sudden two days later this. ehhh. [yes i have her facebook password. but i have never gone on there once. I'm not that stupid (i'm aware things i see would probably hurt me) or invasive of others privacy... a friend has gone in there and told me... It doesn't help to keep the same password you used when you asked your friend to make your page]
hahaha. that had me laughing. Downtown Sniper as in the version of Ray Allen. All basketball related - trust me!
1. Change your status to "In a Relationship." She will think you already found someone and it will give her a good shock. 2. Find someone hotter, and put up a bunch of pictures of you and her. This one is tougher, you actually have to do work and find someone. And presumably, if you can find someone hotter, you would have already. 3. Completely ignore her (while stalking her on facebook, of course). 4. I don't recomment this lightly, as it's very harsh. But you can delete her. I KNOW, it's an extreme move, but I'm just throwing it out there.
This guy has it on point. If you try to get revenge you'll only fuel her rage to do more bs to you. Girls love attention and she's doing this just for that. Best way to go is by completely ignoring her.
Also while I dont consider deleting to be extreme like mr. clutch said, I wouldnt do that either. It can be interpretted as moving on, but also as desperate. Just cut her off and keep the status quo.
revenge will eat you up. The saying is true. What you want is justice and you can achieve that by dating her best friend or sister, even both.
Best revenge is moving on with life. When she sees that you are a happily married successful millionaire that doesn't care about her, she will be more jealous than anything else you could do.
Why are you looking for revenge? The relationship has ended and she has moved on. Why do you care that she is looking for guys to meet? Why is it any of your concern? How long should she have to wait before trying to hook up? How long are you going to wait before trying to meet new girls? Is there an established "waiting time" before trying to move on after a relationship?
