can one of you clarify this for me:

Once I buy the gift card, I would then go on their site to redeem my "coupon".

For example I would then redeem a $25 coupon for Ruggles on their website.

How does it work from there? Would I print the $25 coupon out??

O yes, I love this site.. I use it all the time.. Slickdeals usually informs me when they have a code for 80% off..

The only reason I said that is because you had people thinking they were actually getting gift cards...

    Not the case...

Print it out and take it to the restaurant with you.

I just called the House of Blues to get further clarification. They told me you must order $35 to use the $25 coupon, and $100 to use the $50 coupon. Gratuity is added to the total and then the coupon amount is deducted. They also told me I could use the coupon for DRINKS. Some of the places on the list specifically exclude drinks but I didn't see that mentioned for the HOB. So I'm assumingyou can use it for drinks when it doesn't say you can't. Can't use it for concerts though, but you can for the Sunday brunch (after September 16th).

As others have said, what you can get will vary by restaurant. But if I go to the HOB and order $100 of food/drinks, and only have to spend $50, then I've saved $46 (since the coupon cost $4). Basically getting 2 for 1 whenever you go out. This is all good assuming you were going to eat somewhere anyway.

I spent $80 for $1,000 value so I still think it's a good deal. Not as good as what I originally thought (sorry for misleading anyone), but still a great deal.
