my roommate has been playing this thing non stop since sunday i seen him play bits and the graphics are pretty sweet. he just found out about the co-op mode last night and bugged me about playing i think we'll probably play it soon enough. it looks pretty fun but unlike some of the other RE games I have seen
It's worth getting, but one should note it's not "scary/creepy" like RE's used to be. It's more of an action/adventure style now. Still a ton of fun if you can co-op with someone. Solo play is fun, but not nearly as engaging.
The gameplay is just like RE4, which I loved, but I was hoping there would be something new so this game is kinda eh.... Its pretty much RE4 just on the next gen console with better graphics. I have heard alot of good stuff about the Co-op play tho so I still have to check that out. On a side note those alligators caught me off guard lol
You and your friend can play together to beat the game. You can either do it split screen or you can do over the network from diff. places.
She got on my nerves. I took away all the weapons from her and just handed her the stun rod. This turned her into Ammo collector and healer while also occasionally stun zombies if they got too close to me. This way she didnt get on my nerves and made the game challenging too.

I love this game. I play split screen co-op with my girlfriend everyday. It is really fun. I like using melee moves. We get owned a lot in mercenaries mode tho lol.

Just finished this game and although it's a bit short and I figured I'd just rent it and play through it once, it does have a lot of replay value. NOw I want to buy it. I want to beef up my weapons and kill zombies. I think there is a versus mode right? Is that for both PS3 and xbox360?
i kinda wish there were more puzzles...not just all out action....but i guess thats not what people want these days.
I'm going backwards. I just started RE4 =P. Makes me want to buy RE off PSN but not sure if that game would be that fun anymore.
I noticed that it was very lacking in puzzles. It does take up a lot of time trying to find those BSAA emblems though. YOu really have to explore around just to find a few.
Loved this game. I was skeptical at first, but it really delivered... played it through multiple times. Have to say it certainly is tons better 2-player, though. Overall RE4 is definitely the better single-player game, but 5 is still great.
You will LOVE RE4.....almost makes you wonder why they dont have that guy selling you ammo etc, why you dont have that brief case to fit stuff in....etc...also there were some bonus levels etc in 4....just overall a great game experience.
That's a small beef I have with the game. I love to switch weapons, yet having to bring up that case up every time I wanted to switch was annoying.
