Yeah that was funny! JVG and Matt going back and forth about the word "athleticism". JVG: "If we wanted athleticism we'd hire track guys." JVG: "Now you'll have something to run back to the Nightshift....AWWWWWWW" (or something along that lines)
Matt and Adam completely OWN AM610 when it comes to the Rockets. Listening to them yesterday and to the "discussion" between JVG & Matt was great. I just got in driving from Dallas and I sat in my car until that tape was finished. Once again, JVG proves himself to be so negative.

I don't think he was negative at all. Just because he doesn't agree with a bunch of sporting news guys about how they judge talent doesn't make him negative. Actually I agreed with everything that JVG was telling Matt. Good example is Eddie Griffin.....he's totally an athletic person but that doesn't necessarily translate into a great NBA player.
I was being 100% sarcastic. Notice the . A couple of members here say they are tired of JVG's negativity about the team when he talks to the press. They think he may be pressing them too hard. It's in another thread. I told them to look at Pop and Larry Brown.
Wow, this sounds great, I really hope 610 puts the audio on their site... Matt and Adam (Matdam?) are far and away my favorite Houston sports radio hosts, and not just because of their coverage of the Rockets. They're good at their jobs.
