Replacing Lamps in Tv's

    Ive had my tv for about 3 years now, and i've noticed a change in the tv's color. It's not as bright as it used to be. How long does it usually take for the lamp to go bad?

    to be more speicific, the tv is not as bright as it used to be and it looks like it's being overpowered by a yellowish tint...
