I think this will help us. Yao didn't pick up a single foul in the 4th quarter. When Yao lost the ball, he actually got the benefit of the call a few times when in the past, it would be ignored. Yao went to the line over and over again (he missed but that was a different story). Now, everytime Yao gets into foul trouble, especially in the playoffs, all eyes will be on the officials questioning whether it's legit. Before the incident, the MAvs got away with murder. No way the Mavs will have 10-12 more attmepts at the line this series. Otherwise, Van Gundy will have more ammo that the refs are targeting us.
