Just a reminder, 100 Days till Lift off is Tomorrow at Jones Plaza from 11:00 to 1:00. There will be food from Ninfa's and Beer. Plus the Power Dancers, Calvin, Bill, and some players. We would love to have everybody out there.

No, it's not a secret, but I don't want to deal with the after effects of posting something I shouldn't.

I thought Stevie is from DC too.

If DCballer is actually a player, by process of elemination, we can bet he will be one of the players at the party.

AHEM* Is the food and drink free?

what type of food is there?

wish I could make it. Hopefully I can find a job in the Houston area before the next season starts so I can go to these types of events and meet people from this board. Let me know how things go today. Since I am from out of state, I depend on you guys for my Rockets info!

    thanks

I just got back from the countdown event. We had a great time.

My wife told me that they showed my 2 sons and I on Fox 26 news.

Bill & Calvin made the introductions for the 100 day countdown. During the intro he talked about the hats that my boy was wearing. Calvin wanted one and called us over to ask my 4 year old if he could have it (#3 Steve Francis baseball hat). My boy locked up and clunged to my leg. I dont think so Calvin.

What a great time! thay were given away all kinds of Rocket nick nacks along with the three Rocket shirts and a few Rocket cups we received. They even had a Comets shirt for my wife who was not present.

MaMa Nifas supplied the FREE food and beer.

They had on display the actual trophies of our Championships (2 Rockets and 4 Comets).

Only thing we did not see was actual players. We were there from 11AM till 1PM.

I noticed the 93-94 trophy was dented. Does anyone remember how it happened. I knew why about 4 years ago, but I forgot.

Drexler? Ehh, he was in portland then. I rember the Ball on top of the trophy became disconnected and kept falling off. It was probably some chump like Petruska or eric Riley.
