Everyone making excuses for this looks ridiculous. Just because you are hired for sex appeal doesn't mean all bets are off when it comes to how you can be treated.
I think some people view cheerleaders as the pinnacle of dance, while others view them as T&A for men to watch during timeouts. Then you have the whole outreach thing with off-the-field events. They play a lot of different roles.
This all sounds pretty bad for the Redskins. And that Jojokian woman sounds bad too with her pleadings of being a mama bear and crying about how she has kids while not really denying some of the worst parts of the story. Though it is odd that only just now this is coming to light, 5-6 years later. I guess this sort of thing hasn't been commonplace with the team or else you'd probably be hearing about all kinds of other stuff going on. That, or we hear about it now, but I would assume they pursued other, currently employed cheerleaders to see if they've had similar experiences.
