Ya think we will score tonight?

I think the offense will have another one of those break out games, getting me excited again for another fall out.

Plus, to make things better....I bet COX won't pick up the game!

Who are the 4 pitchers you would take over Clemens?

Berkman looked like he was hurting on the way home.

Dangit! That could have been a HUGE inning.

Instead Self is thrown out at home.

    3-2 Good Guys.

Gotta love your dedication man. Seriously. :)

I'm sitting here thinking if we play .667 ball the rest of the way, we'll be in decent shape. :D

Man, Wheeler's quietly putting together a pretty good season.

Wow... look what regular work does for Brad Lidge.

That was as "light's out" as you can get (minus the walk and the wild pitch...)

Fine, I guess I was reaching... but still... nice to see Backe get another win.

    :)

Good game tonight. Not a lot of offense, but 4 runs is more than enough for this pitching (other than John Franco). Backe was solid. Wheeler is damn hot right now. Lidge and Wheeler strike out the side. Lance got some big hits. Todd Self is a major league hitter. I think he's here to stay.

Atleast we can say they've won 3 of 4. Roy O goes for 14-0 lifetime against the Reds. That's domination, Holmes.

I agree, I really like wheeler. From day one when we got him and he beamed a cubbie during that Oswalt fiasco (same game).

So a friend and I went ticketless to the Astro's game last night. I was talking to the ticket lady, when a guy taps me on the shoulder and says, "I have two tickets I'm trying to give away" - Wary, I looked first for the section on the tickets, I told myself if they said anywhere in the 100's (lower level) I was on it... sure enough, section 118, row 18, seats 3 & 4.... I said I would take them... I offered them money, nope... I even offered to buy them a beer, nope... they sat right next to us the whole game... didn't say much, so we didn't either. We were RIGHT BEHIND HOMEPLATE!! I couldn't believe it. Practically some of the best seats in the house! I was literally lined up with the pitcher, it was an awesome view and and an awesome game!

Thanks to the kind folks who gave us the tickets.

A couple of friends are visiting from LA in July and want to go to a game while they are here. They asked me if I would purchase tickets in advance, and I laughed. We will do the same thing you did hoping for the same result.

No way in Hell do I get cable in my new house. I am so going the Satelite way. COX sucks....seems like forever since I was able to see a game on FSSW.
