Exactly. I just don't see the possibility of abandoning an entire city. Unless the government doesn't mind having a modern day lawless city.

Except she never said that until McCain's speech writers put it in front of her.

    Not exactly "No thanks."

Pretty amazing about the speech being in front of her when she never used notes or a teleprompter in that acceptance speech.

Way to respond to the issue.

And by the way, the defense of McCain is that he was looking at her "speech" and not her ass.

I was responding to the my part of Rimrocker's quote. However, she never once used a note or teleprompter in that 10-minute acceptance.

I just went back and watched video of the speech. You can clearly see her shuffling papers and frequently looking down at the podium.

    Here's a snippet...

The speech was written by McCain's speech writer ahead of time before the pick was made, then slightly updated, and finally handed to Palin for her to make some changes.

Your attempt at wit is so trite that it even overshadows your poor spelling.

NOLA got lucky this time since Gustav hit as a Cat 2 but I don't think NOLA can count on luck indefinately.

Yes, I know. But in the future, if you do make up posts for me, please use proper English. For example, it's "more than 5,000 posts" rather than "over 5,000 posts."
