How do you feel about Telling on someone . . .when they doing wrong? Esp at work. If you have a co worker and they ask you to 'cover' for them etc? They do it OFTEN? Do you? how long? Esp when they getting the same or greater check than you? what about the local folx in ya neighborhood doing illegal dumping or something IN OUR SOCIETY . .. not being a tattletale is so INGRAINED That is how so much crime continues on a daily basis Grown *ss Adults don't want to be TATTLETALES We b*tch about people who do nothing but get promoted in the same line. . . WE NOT TELLING ON THEM If you told. . they would not have gotten the promotion but then . .you would be a tattletale. . . To me it just depends on the situation... If a company is breaking laws our covering something up(Enron/PhillipMorris) then blow the horn big time, I admire those people. If a coworker is stealing from the company or something, nail them. But if someone is a tighta$$ at work and spends more time worrying about how other folks do their job, instead of doing their own, well then that's a rat. I actually work with a guy who does this, he always complains to me about a coworker in our group coming in late or calling in sick. I say worry about your own a$$ and when reviews come, the score will get settled. If a guy his putting all his work on you, that isn't right. But if the dude just comes in late or leaves work early sometimes, then it isn't a big deal to me. Like I said it just depends...
