Six inches of snow just fell over the Puget Sound area last night. Biggest snow fall since 96. Beautiful stuff. The landscape is completely transformed. Everything is shut down. I feel like a kid again. Who else loves the snow?
What is this "snow" you speak of? Seriously, we are due for a good snowfall. The best one I ever saw here was in 1974, when it snowed twice, once in January and once in February. Made my first snowman, had a snowball fight, made snow angels...
About a month ago, we took off for the weekend when my in-laws got 6 inches of snow one Friday. The kids had fun with sledding, snow angels, snow balls, et al.... I love the beauty of a heavy snowfall.
I love snow. Saw it for the first time during my junior year of Highschool when I was living in Switzerland. Then while in Fort Worth last year it actually snowed for a couple of days (on and off with sleet). We had like 2-3 snowdays.
yup school was shut down today...unfortunatly work at the pub is still on for later today. got pics but cant host em.
I frickin' hate snow. Sure, at first it's nice to look at, but then after the inital snowfall there ends up just being these huge plowed mounds of snow that start turning gray and black as they become mixed with dirt, and these eyesores stick around for at least a week. Not to mention it slows down traffic, the salt poured all over the roads pretty much ruin your car, etc. Back when I used to live in Houston I longed for snow...now that I have it relatively often I don't want it anymore.
