........he is traded to another team where the new team's hitting coach would tweak Baggy's swing so he hits 6 HR's in his first few weeks as a member of the new squad.

Maybe... but I've seen Bags GIDP like a million times, so its nothing new. If anything, his shoulder probably hurts when he tries to take those pitches the opposite way, and he has to extend that right arm and flex.

When he pulls the ball, he normally stays more compact, and thus the shoulder joint doesn't have to move as much.

Honestly, I think he'll be fine... its just taking a little bit longer this year.

way to go Raul Ausmus. It doesn't matter who's catching, still the same result, a double play

Astros get a break, a balk!

    1-0

This is the biggest 1-0 lead I've ever seen.

It feels like we're on the verge of knocking this guy out...

No kidding. I feel the same way. I feel like we own this game and we are smoking the other pitcher. But damn we actually only have a 1 run lead.

The pitcher is missing all his spots, and is already at 70 pitches through 3. he looks terrible out there, and I am loving it. BUt man, we have already left 5 runners on base. That is terrible, 3 innings 5 LOB. Come on Stros!

Beltran is sooo graceful out there in the outfield.

Griffiths has that big hook like ole' Roy O and K's his 4th batter tonight.

Then he get the foul catch to end the top of the 4th.

    1-0 good guys

    WTF?!

Rangers get their first couple of runners on. What happens next? The job is done and they are batted home.

We have left 5 runners on base, we are so unclutch.

    3-1 Rangers....

3-1, we do have a run. But damn, seriously. Two straight walks then a BOMB! That was clearly out of the park.

Man, come on Stros! Why can't we do that?....atleast more often then we do.

Whoopi! Here we go again! Runners on the corners. Still 1 out.

Looks like the Rangers are about to put 2 more on the board.

    Make that 3 more runs.

    6-1 Rangers.

Okay, these announcers are quite stupid. Yesterday. "The Rangers now make it 2-0" (actual score 2-1)

Today: "The Rangers make it a 6 run lead!" (actual: 5 run lead, 6-1).

I think the ump's strike zone is shrinking as the game goes on.

Well Griffiths just gave up a 3 run HR on a 0-2 pitch to Gary Mathews Jr. Well, Well, Well.

They have 5 hits and 6 runs; we have 4 hits and 1 run.
That's just not going to get it done.

Griffiths is shaken up. Not dealing with the HR well.
    Griffiths lasts 41/3

Kirt Bullinger comes on in relief and gives up another 3 run HR to Soriano.

    6-1 rangers

"The General's Daughter" is on NBC...One of Travolta's better movies IMO. Anyway it's better than watching the Astros get beatdown.

I think we are at the point where the Astros need to fire Williams. Obviously he is not responsible for the bullpen woes today, but a team built for a championship this year is seriously on the verge of imploding. I think that a managerial change (along with all of the coaches...this is a serious flaw with the team) can perhaps shake things up enough for the Astros to sneak in as a wildcard and see what happens..kind of like the Marlins last year.

    The Astros are cursed!
